WorldWide Collections
270   ¤¬ 1965 Statesman album, space for 25,000 stamps, and approximately 2900 stamps are there! Album is poor, stamps are average packet material. Late 1800s to 1960s, no US or Canada, only a few British Commonwealth. Bulk of the stamps are pre-WWII with some nice, socked on the nose, cancels. Strength in Denmark, Germany, DDR, India, Persia, Poland, Romania and Spain, each with 100-200 stamps. There are approximately 500 mint (low value) or CTO, many of which are stuck, mostly at hinge. 271   ¤¬ Scott International Jr. album to 1930s, 4" thick, including some 1940-1950s stamps on bond 8˝x11 paper inserted, usually one or two pages per major country. Total approximately 9300 stamps, mostly the lower denominations, some with nice cancels. Condition fairly clean for old album. Some stuck down, often French Colonies related mint packet material. Germany has the most stamps, with 600+/-. Iceland has a few with better catalog values. There are 24 countries that range between 100 to 350 stamps each. The Ambassador has stamps throughout, over 100 each in Germany and Hungary, 250+ in US. The Statesman features Australia, Austria, Brazil and Bulgaria with 100 to 300 stamps each.
